Phase 1 – Foundation

“The key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but significance, and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning.”

Oprah Winfrey

Phase One has three steps. Organisations carry out the three steps independently.

Once Phase one is completed, we will be on-board with you to help guide you through the rest of the process.

Achieving Step 1:

Registering for the Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark

The Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark provides external recognition of your commitment, action and progress towards cultural cohesion in your organisation. The Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark is open to all organisations including,  schools and settings, businesses, public services, voluntary organisations, religious organisations and community groups, even a neighbourhood could get together to achieve it!

Register your interest in engaging with the Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark by completing the form.

Achieving Step 2:

Raising Awareness

Everyone in your organisation must understand the commitment to working towards cultural competency. And be aware of the importance of cultural responsiveness in building harmonious relationships. Raising awareness of your commitment to working towards the Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark will generate more intercultural awareness and promote individual responsibility. It will help your members to thrive and work together to achieve it.

Achieving Step 3:

Formal commitment

You have registered and raised awareness in your organisation and local community that you are working towards the Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark. Well done!

Now welcome to step 3. You are ready to gain all the signatures from all the individuals in your organisation to show their commitment to taking the journey with you.
